Meet Our Leaders
Pastor Levy Johnny Griffin is the founding and senior pastor of Expanse Bible Church in San Antonio, Texas. He serves with a deep burden to see people encounter Jesus, grow in the Word of God, and live lives fully surrendered to Christ. His heart for ministry is simple: preach Jesus, teach the Bible, make disciples, and help people Leave Changed.

Pastor Levy and his wife, Lady Porshae Griffin, founded Expanse Bible Church in 2021 with a desire to build a church where people are not only welcomed, but transformed. His preaching calls people to repentance, holiness, faith, obedience, prayer, and Spirit-filled living. He believes the Church is not called to entertain culture, but to proclaim Christ, confront darkness, disciple believers, and demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit.

Before and alongside pastoral ministry, Pastor Levy has served as an educator, veteran, entrepreneur, and community leader. He is a licensed minister, a University of the Incarnate Word graduate, and a former United States Navy Reserve Hospital Corpsman, serving from 2011–2024. His background in ministry, education, business, military service, and technology allows him to teach Scripture with both spiritual conviction and practical clarity.

Pastor Levy is also the founder of EverLife Learning, where he creates transformational courses in discipleship, leadership, business, technology, media, and personal growth. Whether in the pulpit, classroom, community, or online, his desire is to equip people to grow in truth, walk in purpose, and serve God faithfully.
​
He and Lady Porshae are passionate about strengthening families, raising up leaders, serving the Southside San Antonio community, and building a church culture where people are loved, challenged, equipped, and sent.
Pastor Levy also curates a monthly suggested reading list to help people grow in faith, doctrine, discipline, leadership, and spiritual maturity.

Pastor's Reading List
Lady Porshae Griffin serves alongside her husband, Pastor Levy Johnny Griffin, at Expanse Bible Church with a heart for women, children, families, and the work of discipleship. She is a devoted wife, mother of four, ministry leader, and United States Navy Reserve Corpsman who brings both compassion and strength to every area she serves.
​
At Expanse Bible Church, Lady Porshae currently leads GALS, the women’s ministry, where she helps women grow in faith, build godly relationships, and walk with confidence in their identity in Christ. Through prayer, encouragement, fellowship, and sisterhood, she is committed to helping women become stronger, wiser, and more rooted in the Word of God.

She also leads the EBC Kids Ministry, serving the next generation with patience, love, and purpose. Her desire is to help children know Jesus, understand the Bible, and experience church as a place where they are loved, safe, and called by God.
Lady Porshae has helped lead and support several key ministry events at EBC, including women’s gatherings, children’s ministry experiences, family-focused events, outreach efforts, and special services that help strengthen the church and serve the community. Whether she is organizing, teaching, praying, encouraging, or serving behind the scenes, her heart is to see people encounter Jesus and grow in Him.

Her service as a Navy Corpsman reflects her commitment to care, discipline, and sacrifice. That same spirit of service is evident in her ministry, her family, and her leadership. As a mother of four, she understands the importance of faith-filled homes, strong families, and raising the next generation to know and follow Christ.
Together with Pastor Griffin, Lady Porshae is committed to seeing families strengthened, women empowered, children discipled, and lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ. Her prayer is that every person connected to Expanse Bible Church would not only attend church, but truly leave changed.
