Refreshed by His Presence: Reflecting on Our Women’s Retreat
There are moments in life that act as a "before" and an "after." This past weekend at our women’s retreat was exactly that. We stepped away from the noise of our daily routines, the checklists, and the digital hum of the world to find something far more precious: quiet, community, and a profound encounter with God.
We didn’t just attend a retreat; we experienced a transformation.
Leaving the Noise Behind:
The beauty of a retreat isn't just in the destination, but in the intentionality of the heart. As we gathered, there was a shared sense of expectation. Many of us arrived carrying the weight of the season—exhaustion, unanswered questions, or simply the need for spiritual refreshing. In the stillness of our sessions and the warmth of our shared meals, that weight began to lift. We were reminded that we serve a God who meets us exactly where we are, but loves us too much to leave us there.
Encounters That Change Us:
Transformation isn't always a loud, lightning-bolt moment. Often, it's the "still, small voice" that speaks into our deepest insecurities or our highest hopes. Throughout the weekend, we saw:
• Restoration: Hearts that felt weary found a new rhythm of grace.
• Connection: Walls came down as we shared our stories, realizing that we are never as alone as we think we are.
• Revelation: Through God's word, the character of God became clearer—His kindness, His sovereignty, and His unwavering love.
Bringing the Mountain Down to the Valley:
The true test of a mountain-top experience is how it changes the way we live in the valley. We have returned home, but we haven't returned the same. The transformation we encountered isn't meant to stay at the retreat center; it’s meant to overflow into our homes, our workplaces, and our communities.
We are walking back into our "normal" lives with:
1. A Renewed Perspective: Seeing our challenges through the lens of faith.
2. A Deeper Hunger: A desire to maintain that closeness with God in the everyday.
3. A Stronger Sisterhood: Knowing we have a community of women standing with us.
A Final Thought:
If you weren't able to join us this time, know that the same God who met us there is with you right now. Transformation is always available to a heart that is open. We are already praying for the women who will join us next year—there is a seat at the table and a place in this family waiting just for you.To the women who shared this journey: May the fire lit this weekend continue to burn bright. Let’s carry this encounter forward, one transformed step at a time.

Baby Dedication Sunday
At Expanse Bible Church, we are excited to celebrate a special Baby Dedication Service on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 10:15 AM. This will be a meaningful time where families dedicate their children to the Lord in prayer, faith, and commitment, surrounded by our church family. We believe children are a gift from God, and we are honored to stand with parents as they raise their little ones in a Christ-centered home.

Building the House — Donations for Roof Repairs & Church Expansion
At Expanse Bible Church, we are in a powerful season of growth, vision, and expansion. God is opening doors for more people to be reached, more families to be served, and more lives to be transformed through His love. As we continue moving forward, we are also taking intentional steps to care for and strengthen the place where ministry happens.
One of our current needs is roof repairs and church expansion—ensuring that our building remains safe, secure, and ready for all that God is calling us to do next.

Guarding the Unity of Our Family
Alongside the exciting events we have planned this season, our Book of the Month, The Bait of Satan, is calling us to guard our hearts and protect the unity God is building among us.
Offense can feel small at first, but it can quietly shape our attitudes, relationships, and spiritual focus. As we read together this month, we are choosing:
Forgiveness over bitterness
Humility over pride
Freedom over the traps that try to pull us away from Christ

REVIVE BATON ROUGE 2026 - MISSION TRIP

Join us this summer as we head to Baton Rouge, Louisiana from July 12th through July 18th for a dedicated mission trip. This isn't just a trip; it is a week of revival. We are going with an expectation to see hearts awakened and to be ignited with a holy boldness for the Kingdom. Our prayer is to saturate every corner of Baton Rouge with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

100 Families: A Community Outreach of Love

Join us for a powerful night of worship, prayer, and hands-on outreach as we serve our city. Our mission is to provide groceries, warm meals, and the hope of Jesus Christ to 100 families in our community.
What to Expect:
Worship & Prayer: We begin the night by centering our hearts on the "why" behind our service.
Grocery Distribution: Providing essential food for families who need a helping hand.
Community Meals: Sharing a table and the love of Christ with our neighbors.
How You Can Help:
Volunteer: We need teams to help pack bags, serve meals, and pray with our guests.
Donate: Help us reach our goal of sponsoring 100 full grocery sets.
Invite: If you know a family who could use a lift in spirit and a meal, please bring them along.
This outreach is a reminder that what God has built here isn’t just a gathering; it’s a family being formed, strengthened, and sent out to love our city. We give thanks for the opportunity to be His hands and feet.

As part of our commitment to strong, prayerful leadership, our Church Leader Meetings will be held on a recurring basis beginning May 17, as we continue seeking God’s direction together.
Women’s Group Meeting
All women are invited to gather for our Women’s Group Meeting on Sunday, May 31, 2026, following service. Whether you are new or have been with us for years, come connect, be encouraged, and grow in faith and community together.
Church Member Pictures
We will be taking Church Member Pictures on May 31, 2026. We encourage all members to participate as we capture and celebrate our church family.
Dress Code: Wear any Expanse Bible Church (EBC) shirt of your choice. Matching is not required—just avoid non-church logos.
Women’s Bible Study
Join us on June 27th at 6:00 PM at Minister Nikki’s home for our next Women’s Bible Study. We will share a potluck meal, study Proverbs 3, and continue our discussion of The Hour That Changed the World (Chapter 3). Come ready for fellowship, encouragement, and growth in faith.
New Members Breakfast with Pastor
